Cedric Ballard is a dynamic force in the realm of music and ministry, with a legacy that spans more than two decades. Born and raised in the vibrant culture of church life, Cedric’s journey beautifully intertwines his callings as a singer, songwriter, worship leader, minister, and workshop facilitator.

From his earliest memories, Cedric’s life has been a melodic offering, deeply rooted in faith and purpose. Faced with the timeless church question — to sing or to preach — he boldly chose both. His gift made room for him early on, leading him to record and travel with the group Damascus. Yet, in obedience to the guiding whispers of the Holy Spirit, Cedric stepped into a solo career marked by divine milestones and powerful encounters.

In 2015, Cedric released the critically acclaimed album Transparency, a heartfelt testament to his mission of sharing his faith with authenticity. Songs like “My Praise Belongs To You,” “They That Wait,” and his stirring rendition of “Agnus Dei (Holy)” resonated deeply with audiences, drawing listeners into a genuine experience of worship and grace.

Acknowledging the divine favor that has carried him through life’s highs and lows, Cedric humbly gives all glory to God. His fifth album, The Live Experience (2021), captured the true essence of his ministry — a powerful, transformative worship encounter. His most recent project, the EP The Journey, released in October 2024, continues to affirm his message of faith, resilience, and gratitude.

Throughout his career, Cedric Ballard has shared the stage with some of gospel’s greatest legends and R&B icons, including Patti LaBelle, Albertina Walker, Kirk Franklin, The Clark Sisters, Beyoncé Knowles, Kurt Carr, 

V. Michael McKay, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, and many others.
